Gladstone South Australia is as lovely friendly town. It is only about half hour drive from Port Pirie. The caravan Park is neat, clean, tidy and very good prices. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Gladstone itself is an amazing small town. The tour of the old gaol is worth a visit, we are going back to do the night ghost tour. Lots of history in the town. There are lots of places to go for walks. The habadashery store is worth the visit (ladies you could spend hours in there, especially if you like craft). I was invited to join the ladies in the craft group (nice people). The fish & chips at the takeaway shop was yummy. The IGA has everything you would need. The Information Centre, the staff have a wealth of knowledge and the history of Gladstone is interesting.
